WINDY

Spayed Female

I want to write about Windy, how funny and smart she is and how much we love her. I never leave the house without kissing her several times. She is so playful and likes to follow anything that moves. My son loves her so so so much . She is very happy and sleeps on our bed . She also loves dinking water from my cup, next to my bed every night. Any where I put that cup , she finds it and drinks it. I want you to know that we love her so much and we are so happy to have her in our house.

DANDI (MANDY)

Spayed Female

Dandi is doing wonderful and is a great addition to our household. We have renamed her "Mandy" as all our kids have "M" names. We recently lost our pet dog to old age and Mandy really fills the void that was left after our dog passed.

DRAY

Neutered Male

My husband and I can't tell you how blessed we are to have Dray. We fell in love with him immediately and he has brought so much joy into our lives. He and Daphne are getting along well and we couldn't have asked for more precious babies. We call them our Babies! Dray has adjusted beautifully and we know that has to do with how much we pamper him! He truly is the most affectionate, loving, cuddly little boy ever, and he's grown into quite a handsome one too! He is super happy and super loved. Everyone that meets him, absolutely adores him!

ANABEL & PORTIA

Spayed Females

We've decided to keep their names after much debate about changing them. Since we didn't have names picked out when we brought them home, we started calling them Anabel (we did drop the Lee) and Portia and the names just stuck! When we were thinking of other names, nothing else seemed to fit!

They're settling in - they're very playful now that they're comfortable in the house. Their favorite places to sleep are on our bed and on the sofa. We wake up every morning to them either wrestling on the bed or swatting our feet! They are so much fun!! I already can't imagine the house without them. :o)

STERLING & SPENCER

Neutered Males

The boys are doing very well. They're actually both sleeping under my feet right now - alternated the morning between who was in my lap (Sterling tends to be more aggressive in the demanding of love) and who was sitting behind me on the chair. They've been on a diet which hasn't made any of us terribly happy but we're starting to see some results. Sterling has settled in with Alex and even curls up in bed with us when I'm getting Alex to sleep. And I'm happy to report that the reluctant husband now has a cat in his lap every evening and complains if he gets passed by one evening.

FRANKIE

Neutered Male

I really appreciated your concern for our...yours and mine...Frankie. Frankly, he is a wonderful person in fur! Susan and I just love him and Minou is very happy to have a friend. They are both big boys but I think Frankie tips the scales a bit more than Minou. When Frankie does come and stand or sit a while in my lap, I know I've been sat upon! Did you know he snores?! The one thing he has in common with Grace, our Border Collie. Grace likes Frankie; Frankie is holding out judgement on that big cat with the pointy black leathery nose. I know he loves us!

HENRY

Neutered Male

Hi AWLMC… It's me...Henry! I LOVE my new adoptive home. Here's a picture of me and Nemo my new "brother" and BFF. Nemo is 3 years old, just like me! He even looks a lot like me except that he is orange where I'm grey. We have a great time wrestling and running around. I also have 2 new boys to play with. They are lots of fun and one of them even invited me to his birthday party with 18 other kids. I had a great time and everyone played with me and told me how handsome I was! There are also some other nice cats here. Don't tell anyone, but I'm kind of smitten with a pretty calico named Callie. She used to be an AWLMC cat too. Thanks for finding me such a great new home!

CARUSO

Neutered Male

Caruso has made amazing progress during this past month. He's accustomed now to being picked up and runs to the door not only for us but also for visitors. He lets everyone pat and play with him. He even allowed the window replacement man to pick him up and participated in the measuring of windows! He eagerly awaits canned food arriving from Bark and Pawlitics; talks through the windows at squirrels, birds, and chipmunks in our yard; lounges in the cat napper; and plays like a kitten. He's always busy and follows us from room to room so he doesn't miss anything. He slept curled up next to me twice last week, although he generally prowls the house at night. As I'm sure you know, he's very inquisitive, even by cat standards, and he likes to be included in everything. We are so happy to have Caruso with us and are thrilled that he's happy and confident here.

MITTENS

Spayed Female

Mittens is doing great, she's so cuddly now! She also looks after my husband to be petted by him!! She loves to sit on the edge of the couch to look outside the window. Then she rubs her head against mine and likes to be carried down next to me or on my lap. Her favorite time of the day is when she wakes us up at 5:00 am, just to let us know it's almost time to go to work and let the bed free for her to snooze in! She usually jumps or walks on me until I move.

MAX

Neutered Male

I wanted to let you know how Max is doing. He is doing great!! We love him! He is still a little scared of my husband and noises, but he's settling in just fine. He and our cat Banter have become friends. There was only hissing at first on Banter's part – Max was just easygoing through it all. Enjoy the pictures and we'll send more soon!
–Love, Lisa & Max
