Dear potential donor,

Thank you for your interest in our organization. By donating to us you will be saving the lives of cats and kittens.  It is that simple.  The AWLMC is staffed 100% by volunteers. The AWLMC is a registered 501(c) 3 so your donation is tax deductible.  We are an organized team comprised of highly motivated individuals focused on a variety of important activities in support of our mission.  We are pursuing a number of fundraising events and also seeking direct financial contributions.

Funding is needed to maintain our no-kill animal shelter in Montgomery County. We have been collecting money from donors and our volunteers, but we need more financial contributions to continue our work. We require ongoing funding to pay our vet expenses and house cats in our shelter.

Dedicated members of our team have created a vet program that screens and recruits vets who offer high quality services and gives us preferred pricing.  Even with these arrangements, vet costs are a significant part of our operating budget.

Each cat or kitten that is adopted from us is current on their vaccinations.  We do not adopt out any cat or kitten until it has been spayed or neutered.
